Casting Call for Men for Tyler Perry TV Show filming in Atlanta, GA

Tyler Perry will be directing and executive producing the upcoming scripted series he wrote for TLC called “Too Close to Home”. The series is an eight-episode drama. Submissions are now being accepting from male actors for some upcoming background roles. Guys will portray photographers, camera operators, reporters and sound boom operators. The series will be filming in Atlanta, Georgia, where the home of Tyler Perry Studios is.

About the Show

Tyler Perry’s new scripted series “Too Close to Home will be airing on TLC. It will tell “the story of a young woman who escaped her working class upbringing to discover unparalleled success in the fast-paced D.C. political circuit, only to find herself at the center of a scandal. After a steamy affair with a married senator makes national headlines, she is forced to return to her trailer park beginnings, where her past and everyone in it resurfaces to complicate everything,” according to Variety.
