About the Series

Minhunter is being produced by Academy Award winning actress Charlize Theron and Academy Award nominated director David Fincher. It is based on the 1996 book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, by former special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. For years, Douglas pursued some of the most notorious serial killers and rapists, developing profiling techniques to catch them. The book goes behind the scenes of some of his highest-profile cases.

The period piece is set in the late 1970’s. They are looking for all types but those will long full hair, sideburns, afros and character types are a plus

The open call is only for those ages 18 and up however, parents can submit their children online.
Those who attend the auditions should come dressed in classic style period clothing such as Levis 501, pencil skirts, blue collar, white collar, working class men and women.
